Recurring tasks turn one-time work into automation. Set the cadence once and the task runs forever — or until you stop it.
Schedule types
- Hourly — every hour, on the hour
- Daily — once a day, at a time you pick
- Weekly — pick the day of the week and the time
- Monthly — pick the date and time
- Custom (cron) — full control via a cron string for power users
Time zones
Schedules use the time zone of the team that owns the agent. You can override on a per-task basis if you have customers in a different region.
Common schedules
- Daily 8am digest — perfect for morning check-ins (lead summary, sales pipeline, on-call alerts)
- Monday 9am report — weekly business reviews
- Every 4 hours — light monitoring (uptime, competitor pricing)
- 1st of the month, 9am — monthly reports
Tip
Stagger your daily tasks. If you have five 8am tasks, they all compete for resources. Spread them across 7am–9am for smoother delivery.
Pausing and resuming
Use Pause to stop the schedule without deleting the task. Useful during holidays, freezes, or when you want to skip a few runs. Resume to pick back up where you left off.
Run history
Click any task in the Tasks list to see every past run, its timestamp, its output, and any errors. This is your audit trail.
