Chapter 2 · Your Agent

Create an agent

The full agent creation flow, plus a quick map of every setting.

4 min read

Creating an agent in Chatzuri takes about 30 seconds. This guide walks you through the full creation flow and points to the settings you'll want to revisit afterwards.

1

Open the team you want the agent in

From the dashboard, click your team in the top-left switcher. The team page lists every agent and workflow you've already built.

2

Click 'New agent'

The button sits at the top right of the team page. A modal opens asking for a name and an optional description.

  • Name — short, descriptive. Examples: "Support", "Sales", "Onboarding". You can rename it later.
  • Description — optional. Helps your team mates know what the agent does.
3

Confirm and land on the agent

You'll be redirected to the new agent's Dashboard tab. The agent is already running with sensible defaults: GPT-4o class model, conservative temperature, English language, and a generic welcome message.

What to do right after creation

A fresh agent has no knowledge of your business yet. The fastest way to make it useful:

  1. Add a system prompt describing what the agent does and how it should behave (Settings → AI configuration)
  2. Add at least one source — a URL or a document (Sources tab)
  3. Test in the Playground to see how it answers
  4. Customise the chat widget if you'll embed it (Settings → Interface)
  5. Connect a channel (Connect tab)
Tip
Spend most of your first hour on the system prompt and sources — those two together determine 80% of how good your agent feels.

Deleting an agent

From Settings → General, scroll to the bottom and click Delete agent. This permanently removes all sources, conversations, and configuration.
