Connect a Facebook Page so your agent answers Messenger conversations. OAuth handles the heavy lifting.
Before you start
- You're an admin of the Facebook Page
- The Page is published
1
Open Connect → Messenger
On the agent's Connect tab, click Facebook Messenger. Click Connect Facebook.
2
Authorise
Sign in to Facebook and approve the requested permissions. You'll see a list of Pages you admin.
3
Pick the Page
Select the Page you want the agent to answer for. Click Continue. Chatzuri subscribes to message events on that Page.
4
Send a test message
Open the Page on Facebook (as a different user, or in incognito). Click Message. Send something. Your agent replies.
Heads up
Meta places strict limits on messaging outside the 24-hour window. Unsolicited messages need a tag-approved use case. Reactive replies (responding to customers) work freely.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect in the Messenger section. The webhook subscription is removed and the agent stops receiving messages.
